What’s the Eisenhower Matrix? The Eisenhower Matrix is a system for efficiency, prioritization, and time management designed to help you organize a list of activities or agenda items by first classifying certain items according to their urgency and significance.
This method consists of drawing a four-box square with an x-axis labeled Urgent and Not Urgent, and the y-axis labeled Important and Not Important, also known as the Eisenhower Decision Matrix, Eisenhower Box or Urgent-Important Matrix. Then group the items on your list into one of the four boxes, with your immediate action needed by the Urgent-and-Important box on the upper left.
