What’s AARRR here? The AARRR system is an acronym for a series of five metrics for user activity that should be monitored by companies:

  1. Acquisition. (How do people discover our brand or business?)
  2. Activation. Activation (Are these individuals doing the acts that we want them to take?)
  3. Retention. (Continue to engage our enabled users with the product?)
  4. Referral. Submission. (Do consumers like the product enough to say anything about it to others?)
  5. Revenue. (Are our customers willing to pay for this item?)
